Luckily I could use this more than a little blue pill.

$1300??
You can get a Boat Buddy for < $100, or a remote controlled winch lock similar to a Boat Buddy for $350.
I had a Boat Buddy for my 23' Daycruiser jet; loved it.

Climbing over the bow keeps you young.

But, essentially, you're power loading with this, aren't you?

The only power in that youtube vid is the outboard pushing the boat onto the trailer from what I see.

Looks like the rope system... which is moved by the boat... spins the winch just to take up the slack as you move. The momentum of the handle spinning around is the only thing that pulled it in tight once the boat stopped moving.

And leave your trailer parked at the ramp blocking it until you return and reload. Helpful to your fellow boaters.

Yeah I like the fold out ladder too. Where can I get one of those?

Why do you think you couldn't dock the boat and move your rig off of the ramp , or to the ramp, as you would any other time ?

Re: Found something to help out older Gents.

This thread went in kind of the wrong direction. First I didn't realized that the video i linked didn't have the full product installed on the trailer. If you follow the link to the website, their systems are clearly remote controled winches, no powerloading. And the great looking ladder is for sale on their sight as well. I also fail to see what this quote has anything to do with the product
"And leave your trailer parked at the ramp blocking it until you return and reload. Helpful to your fellow boaters"....
That clearly is for a whole other discussion, and problem.
Other than that I just thought it was neat product, because I remember my great grandfather and grandfathers almost falling out of the friggen boat on the ramp trying to reach the winch.
