Hi Fish N Geer,

I've read a couple of your other posts and think I understand at least a little bit about what that boat means to you. I hope that after your hard work you can restore it so as to enable it (and you) to create future memories.

Sometimes working on creating future memories is as important or more important than remembering times gone by.

Good luck with your endeavor.....You sound like a person with a lot of character.

Thank you Chuck.Thats my drive and passion behind restoring this old boat. The history behind it and the future memories that are going to be made in the future with it.My daughter who is now 13 loves to fish and she did some tubing behind the pontoon and 17 foot smoker craft at my parents place up north.Wont be long and she will be moving on to boys and dating and all that teenager stuff. She is excited to help with the project as well. Some of my friends ask wouldnt it be better to just get a boat thats in good shape and enjoy it.Rather than sink a bunch of bucks in this one?I tell them its all the history behind this one that makes it special.Although it will be different colors and paint with a couple of add ons it never had. For example a bow mounted trollling motor a stereo GPS Depth combo it will still be the same crestliner I enjoyed fishing out of for years with my family.

Great picture, thanks for sharing. Man, anyone say at least from this picture, you look like Hank Williams, Jr.
