Hey Guys-
The fuel line coming in to my 2016 FS150 broke over the weekend. It snapped on the engine side where the quick disconnect comes into the engine cowl. Looking at Mercury parts, this is a special molded piece of hose that runs from the quick disconnect entering the cowl to the low pressure fuel filter.
Nobody in town has the piece in stock, so I'm wondering if I could just replace it with a regular piece of hose instead of the special part and save a few bucks. I'd still have to buy the connectors.
Thoughts on the fuel line or those plastic quick connectors?
