I have just bought a '97 200 Horizon (my first boat) that came with a Mastercraft trailer. Some of the initial observations are that it sits to far forward and the bow stop needs to be moved back away from the winch. It also appears to sit to close to the fenders (low on the trailer). Any advice on making this trailer work?

Thanks!

Re: Four Winns on a Mastercraft trailer

pictures, over all pictures, and areas of concern.

you can up load to a free service like photobucket.com then you choose the pictures you want( clik the little box at the bottom left of the picture) scrool to the bottom of the page, clik generate html, it will take you to the next page, scroll down to thumb nails clik on that and copy, then insert it into your post.

also if you are planing on posting pictures, you can use the Blue post reply or the go advanced, manage attachments, there you can upload , directly from your computer. besure you pictures have been resized to fit the format. 640x480 max.

BBFourwinn Welcome aboard I Boats

As soon as you post some detailed pictures. You will get plenty of help setting your trailer up properly.

It's a shame the Four Winns didn't come with an authentic trailer, because the boat/trailer connection is one of the easiest things to master. Four Winns has customized their trailers to work beautifully with their boats, and even in cross winds the boat sits level.

it may take you a few times loading and unloading it to tweek it. Just mark where you want the
adjustments with a pencil then make the changes with the Boat off the trailer. That's what I did. After about three launches and retrieves I got it perfect.
