Four Winns seat removal

I have an 88' Freedom 160 that needs really nothing but some new back to back seats. The original seats have that accordian bracket in them so they can be reclined and from staring down in there it looks like there's just 4-6 screws on the interior and the base would pop right off the deck.

Just wondering if I'm missing something, it almost seems too easy. I doubt the replacement WISE seats will bolt exactly the same but that's why 3M makes 4200. If anyone has done this project I'd appreciate some advice before it gets crazy.

The base is usually just screwed to the floor and using the side storage access to the base a drill will make quick work to remove them. Then you just use some SS screws to install the new ones. Since a new back to back seat is sold with the base there is no need to mess with the folding brackets unless you want to use them for something else.

Thanks for the help, I didn't figure there would be much to it but as with all things boating complications seem to erupt from the smallest tasks.

With a little better weather and some luck the old girl should be looking younger soon.

Getting the old seats out shouldn't bee too hard.

Although, as you said there are always complications. My biggest fear would be that when you take them out you will find that your deck (floor) is rotted.
