I need to replace the snap in carpet in my boat. Problen is Im in Phoenix and the nearest four winss dealer is in Boulder, NV. and they are not very helpful with ordering the part. The carpet sems to be a dealer part unless I use the old one as a template and have someone make a new one for me. Any thoughts on where I can order one of these or am I stuck making one??
I'm going through a similar process. I'm taking out the glue in carpet and putting back snap in. Is your original carpet berber? I live in Phoenix as well and have done quite a bit of leg work on this..if you would like some more info on what I'm doing and where I'm getting my supplies, feel free to shoot me a PM.
Both of those links that EZ left for you will do a fine job I'm sure and chances are they will already have a template for your boat..however you'll pay for it. If that isn't an issue for you, by all means...but if you are inclined to do a bit of the work yourself (you have templates already so it will be easier) you can save some money.
