Fox Marine Engine Gateways for twin VP 5.7 GSI's issues

Trying to hook up my motors to an Axiom MFD on a 2001 298 Vista, won,t connect. Do these motors have "common data connector"? Supposedly communication between the 2 as a Master/Slave setup. I am supposed to unplug it if there is one to.avoid data collisions. Anyone know where this is located if I have one? It is a MEFI 3 if that helps.

Probably not. MEFI is pretty crude controller

You might have one, they were an option in 2001 if I remember right. The connection was back by the bell housing.

FYI each motor does have a 2 wire connector that is by the inition coil with a tag that says Master/Slave. Neither are connected to anything and both are capped. According to my laptop running Diacom software each motor is set to Master, working with Fox marine to figure this out. I did get both gateways/motors to work on their Android app now just need to get it working with my Axiom MFD
