Hmmm... speaks volumes.

Re: Fox News loosing ground.

If you have a moment, google the ratings, and use Fox News in the search. The left has gone insane. They now have a new reason to live. If memory serves me right, FN still has double the viewership and I don't see where any other network has seen any improvement in viewership.

Now Lou Dobbs, and Glen Beck might be drawing some viewership, but who cares. Those members of the hard left that feels that this is somehow meaningful are so lathered they will need a shower. Those who didn't think that Clinton was a liar, think CNN, MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, BBC, AP, Reuters, PBS is balanced. 10 years of growth, and one month or so of sagging ratings has given some a reason to live. We should thank fox for saving lives. 8)

Ever notice that they didn't headline CNN rating up? No, its Fox is down. Tell you anything about mindsets?

Re: Fox News loosing ground.

Fox is apparently the top dog from what I have read here. I don't watch it because I have gathered from posts on iboats that it is just red party hype and equally biased but i the other direction as the other media.

Regardless if Fox is on top, Fox is the one watched most closely. When oil company profits were reported, who was most talked about? Was there another oil company with higher profits than Exxon Mobil? If there was they weren't covered very well. So if we have a fixation on the top, the "best" or the front-runner, why wouldn't balanced news sources report on the point of interest, in this case Fox News' ratings slipping?

And to touch on the reason why Fox News is soooooo popular. Maybe it's because all those "conservative" redumblicans require some self-affirmation to soothe their searing consciences for blindly supporting this idiot-in-chief's reign of terror on the American people in the name of his War on Terror. How else would limbaugh have lasted so long? Someone's got to tell ya you're right. And I'd bet it sure won't be historical accounts 50 or 100 years from now. That ought to be long enough to get enough political filtering done.
