Re: freakin ebay motors......
Nos4r2, yes I was the jammy so and so that got the flatacraft
Went to see it on the Thursday and couldn't stop shaking all the way home or until the auction ended........It really is immaculate: no hull scratches, no scratches inside, no patches or scuffs to the sponsons, nothing! Very well maintained when new and probably less than 20 hours on the engine too! When the engine fired up after the prelim prep of awakening a sleeping engine she purred like a kitten, settled down to a nice smooth idle and I just grinned (for about 72 hours)
The trailer looked tatty in the photo but that's because it had been coated in red lead paint at the manufacturers
even the tyres are good with no signs of perishing or cracking.
I'm just waiting for a water pump (going to change that as a matter of routine) before heading out for a test run.

Backstreet dealer: difficult to tell you on here I guess: is ribnet any easier for contact? I was thinking of joining there too: so far I've just read and watched without registering.

The flatacraft has certainly proved to be an ebay bargain as far as I'm concerned and just shows you that ribs can survive a long time if put in the garage under the (fitted) factory supplied cover
