Hey Guys,
Are there any links with free download manuals for my 9.9 2 stroke?
I need to install this on my swim deck and I want to make sure enough of the outboard is in the water.

mercurypartsexpress.com will have engine diagrams, have your serial number handy. But all you really need to know it that it has to be low enough to fully submerge the gearcase without being so low that the powerhead submerges when the boat comes off plane in a hurry.

i think i would build a bracket, for the adjustable motor mount, to attach to. may not be pretty, but when the main engine is in use you can get the troller out of the water.

Thank you for the replies.
I guess I should buy a factory service manual.
I thought there would be a pdf version floating around like the mercruisers.

Re: Free Mercury Manuals

I have seen manuals on ebay that come on CDs. The cost is minimal. I presume that they are PDF versions of the printed manuals.
