Although it was a family emergency of sorts, it was wonderful news. I am going to be a father for the first time! Found out on the 4th of July. I won't bother you with the details but it hasn't been easy for Mrs. Pointer and I, as we have been trying for years.

Doctors visits and family visits had to occur.

I had a great time this weekend. Yes it was hot, but the "Brandy" went down really well. The lake was fantastic except for the first inch of slim in the harbor. I got home safe yesterday at about 11:30 and I took a nap.


Looking forward to Next year.

Wow! What a great weekend!
We got home safe Sun afternoon and it was like we hit a wall. After 5 days and 4 nights on the boat, we were ready to sleep in our own bed for a change.

Waves? What waves? They weren't to bad.
Joel, you missed me by that much! I'll remember to signal next time.
Willy, now where was that honeymoon again?
Adam, next time you're in the Winnebago area drop me a PM. You can chase me around the lake again.
Sanger, glad you are all ok. Loosing a tire can be scarry enough when you don't have a boat in tow.

I am glad that you all had a good time. I ended up working that weekend because they switched the date of my store's physical inventory at the last second. Originally it was supposed to be in October.....they changed it to this past Sunday. The prep begins 6 weeks out, and they black out all vactions. I havent even been on here in awhile.....been putting in long hours and every other aspect of life was getting busy too.

I now am moving next month, and had almost no time to sleep let alone get out of town.

Hopefully next year will be different.......wouldnt mind meeting some of my elders

Hey guys I stood you up also, sorry. Took a trip earlier in the week and ran into a deal I couldn't pass up so I spent the rest of the weekend working out the details and bringing home the dream boat:

That particular model set the bass boat world speed record at over 116mph in 2005. Mine is not set up to go quite that fast but it should chase fish just fine. I do hope to get to meet you guys some time soon

Hey Nice Boat Calico. It looks like a screamer with the heart of a nice bass boat.

It sounds like you all had a great time in July. Sorry I couldn't make it.

I worked hard to get my house on the market. Wife has been living in Rhinelander since January and my son moved after school got out.

The house is 103 years old and when you sell, you want to get as much done as possible. Unfortunately, we got so much done we hate to leave it.
