Down to 5* here tomorrow night.No big deal for me.I grew up in Ohio and Michigan...People here in NC do not know what cold is.
I was at the grocery store this morning and some hispanic chic had 8 gallons of milk? I guess she was preparing for the worst.Its funny how the milk and bread gets gone in a hurry!
Give me Pepsi,smokes,and a big slab of meat and a bag of taters, i can outlast anything...lol!

Girlfriend was in a panic! We have used electric heaters for the last several winters.
She wanted the gas furnace working before she got home tonight.
Well,250 bucks later the gas is on...Geeze! She better be nice to me...

At first i told her we could just get the dogs in the bed and stay warm all wrapped in a blanket...

This morning the thermometer on my front porch read 8 degrees. This is about as cold as it gets here in MD. Single digits are rare. By the afternoon the wind had kicked up and it felt even colder. While I was outside having an extremely quick smoke with one of my cohorts, I audibly wondered why anyone would want to live in places like Alaska or Canada. I know there are some guys from Canada here....please explain...seriously. Why?

Well,I am leaving my beloved Arizona,and going to Ontario Canada for a year,starting in March.It is and has been 76 degrees here.I have been looking at the place,and it is beautifull,But yes -25 degrees C.I found me a hot little latino girl there,So,she tells me no fishing until May,I am pulling my bass tracker with me,that boat won't know what to do come May,I have winterized it,and me I hope.

At least I have an inside job. It was 26 on the oak tree in front of the house about 5:15 when I came out to go to work and checking the temp with weather channel it dropped to 23 before it started to rise. This ain't boating weather.

Starcraftguy, Drumbo is in what we refer to as the banana belt of Ontario. Typically the warmest area of the province.

The water is clear of ice by May but water temps will still be in the 50's. Make sure you get the proper license for fishing before heading out.
