where we are going it is legal to swim with them but there is dnr there making sure your not doing anything wrong

OK then. You must be doing one of those commercial "swim with the manatees" excursions which are popular in the area you are going. They are well supervised. Manatees have a terrible time with boat props down here.

Saltwater Saltwater Fishing Regulations Freshwater Freshwater Fishing Regulations A speacil license can be auquired for fishing in Fl waters. You can purchase 1 or both salt and fresh water. It is more expensive for visitors to florida. I recommened reading the facts and regulations on what can be caught how big or small Daily bag limits. The good thing is I believe if the owner operator has a licsense anyone can fish off his vessel without one. Bad news is if you get caught without a liscense There is a major fine involved and the possibility of your vessel being impounded. Possibly leagle matters as well. I would make sure you look into all nessecary things you need including saftey equipment reuirements. It might be a bit much for a trip into the gulf but like I said there out there sherrifs horbormasters Coast Gaurd Planes helicopters and boats. Be forwarned. Nonresident Saltwater Fishing Licenses Freshwater LIC costs are the same but you cannot use a salt water lic as a freshwater LIC you must purchase both if doing both.

i plan on doing everything legal i would hate to loose my boat or get a big ticket just because i was to cheap to pay 17$. thanks for the info on the licenses max i will get one when we go down.
