Back a couple of years ago I was trying to check the spark on a 200-s Honda 3 wheeler. If I remember right I was holding the spark plug wire with what I thought was insulated pliers and pull starting the motor with my right hand. Well I didn't know there was a wasp nest on the ATV until I started pull starting that thing, then I couldn't tell if I was getting shocked or if I was getting stung until I quit pulling the rope and got stung a 2nd time if I remember right it was on my upper lip
, nothing like getting stung on the lip. Don't get stung in between the fingers that sucks. I have a red headed family member and has been stung before, and he also is allergic to bees and wasp.
Worst yet a while back I got spider bitten on the lip or at least I think it was a spider durring my sleep and my bottom lip swelled up so bad it scared the heck out of me. After the swelling went down I could see 2 little bite marks so it had to of been a spider.
I too have lived in harmony with wasp, I don't smoke in the house so I step out on the front porch, little did I know that I was passing under a wasp nest each time I went out there. One day I finally looked up there and seen their not so nice of a home and a day or so later I got stung by the darn things, makes you wonder if I wouldn't of looked up there if they would have even bothered with me.
Up at my sis n law's father's house the past weekend and everywhere I turned around there was wasp nest, he sprayed them down and one landed right on my mom's arm which I flicked it off of her but she didn't get stung surprisingly. We have them mean wasp down here in Bama.
