First of all thanks to everyone who helped me on my other thread I’ve decided to not use the 1708 I’m buying some 1700 biax instead ,

So this is the plan so far and just wanted to check in my plan Is sound, now, remember that I’m doing this from inside ,and it’s getting done with epoxy,
I’ve already removed the core and sanded the inside inside of the front deck this was Necessary as I wanted the best surface for repair , this Has left the front deck a bit thinner than it was previously so I plan on putting 1 or 2 layers of 1700 on the inside first to build up thickness first. I’m then going to fill the void around the perimeter with thickened epoxy,
Then if I can cope with the drying time I will install the plywood part of the core that’s around the winch and cleats while it’s still green with epoxy thickened with cabosil, and let this set then fit the divinycell type core To the rest of the deck. Let This set again and come back another day and put the required amount of layers covering the new core and the 2” perimeter, does this sound about right ? Do I need to reinforce it with anything else around the perimeter??? I know about sanding between fully cured layers and the use of peel ply etc , just wanted to check does this sound about right ? Sorry photos aren’t in the right order B1049A2C-1C90-4002-BCF5-C2E163481369.jpeg7B57E40B-24DC-4BC7-A162-FDE4530FA8FB.jpeg2808EF3B-D1EE-4C57-B289-F5EF1EE4FD3B.jpeg19BBEF06-0181-47F6-A77C-70E611031477.png5B6AAAE4-E5BA-4B24-85B2-F9CA62F169C2.jpeg80A0FEC2-EFA2-46FA-B42C-278C0CEFFECD.jpeg

I am going to be replacing deck core on my 35’ Chris craft. Wondering if you started your project yet? I was going to go from the top but if this method worked it would be much less fairing.
