my trailer has a transom roller,a support roller above axle and the front keel roller, and last a roller at the winch. my question is when my boat is loaded on the trailer the boat rests on the axle roller and the bunkboards only. the front winch roller is tight to boat. but the front keel roller does not touch the boat , theres about a 3/4 to 1inch gap. how can i fix this problem??? if it helps my boat is 16 6" fiberglass bassboat v-hull 1983 ebbtide dyna trak 162 thanks chris

Re: front keel roller problem

you can probally loosen a few bolts and move the roller up to where it will help.
I had a similar problem on my boat, the front keel roller would raise the boat off the the regular rollers, so a lot of weight was on the one keel roller.

Just try to get the weight dispursed onto as many rollers as possible. I bet if you move one to touch the boat, that will force it off of other rollers. It can be tricky, and just takes trial and error
