How many have had this happen. I was fishing at Patoka lake, (8880 acres), fairly close to the shore with my wife and two young boys. We were fishing for crappie toward the back of a large wooded cove, when I noticed out on the main lake many bass-boats in a large group moving at high speeds. A few of the boats turned into the cove where we were fishing. I figured there was a tournament going on. Well eventually some of the boats made it back to our location, and they were determined to fish the very small piece of shoreline between my boat and the shore. Now we are talking 25 to 30 yards between my boat and the bank, and not just one boat, but many. I was anchored, and we were fishing off of both sides of the boat. They have this whole lake to fish, but they don't mind passing within inches of your minnow tipped bobber. I had a few choice words for some of those guys. This is not the first time I have had this happen. Some of these tournament fisherman think they own the lake, and that frustrates the crap out of me. I don't have a problem with tournaments, but the tournament fisherman should show the "regular" fisherman some respect.
