The Indian River Lagoon between the Seaway Bridge and the power plant on the east side around the mangroves and spoil islands. I like using live pin fish, which can be caught in the grass flats, or a lure of your choice resembling a pin fish. Early morning with a top lure such as a bomber is productive. Good luck.

Never fished the jetty but walked it several times, haven't seen any redfish caught there yet, mostly in the river. If you want to fish from shore there are many places along Hutchinson Island to park and go wade fishing. Since you are taking your boat I wouldn't bother with that jetty at all.
