My fuel bulb never seems to get hard and i am wondering if it can lead to other issues like air or something being introduced in the fuel system??
Motor runs fine with it the way it is by the way....

Once the connector is disconnected from the motor it doesn't change. now all lines and connectors have been checked and rechecked and all changed except the small primer ones. the bulb has been replaced and swopped over with 2 other bulbs just to rule out the bulb.

Once the line is disconnected from the tank and i put my thumb over the line it then gets hard but only when done this way...

Is it an issue with the pick up line inside the tank??? I'm not really worried about this prob but just wanna be sure i ain't causing an issue to happen later down the line..

Are you holding the fuel primer bulb in a vertical position with the arrow facing up? That should do it, unless a carburetor is flooding which I assume it is not as otherwise I'm sure you would have mentioned it.

vertical and horizontal, it still gives the same result... and the carbs aren't flooding. Look if it an't broken ,don't fix it , comes to mind.... best left alone i guess
