Welll...
I got the right puller and put my IR impact wrench to it and it popped right off. I changed the coils just because I already bought them but everything else looked PRESTINE. I took pictures for yall but I cant find the dang cord to upload them with. The coils could have possibly been bad but everything else above the armature plate looked beautiful. The motor has very low hours on it. It only had about 8 hours on it before I got it from my grandpa and Ive only had the boat for about a year.

My next step will be to run it in a bucket untill it reaches normal operating temperature and see if it still does the sporatic dropping of one cylinder like it used to. Im praying the coils were the problem.

How big of a bucket should I use to run it untill normal operating temp? I just wanted to make sure the water in the bucket doesnt get too warm and hurt the motor

You need a really BIG bucket that's also deep enough to get the water level up high on the LU so that the pump is below the water level; otherwise you could overheat the motor.:(

I just wanted to make sure that if the bucket wasnt too small all of the water in the bucket wouldnt get hot and mess anything up. Im just gonna take it in the river today
