When getting my motor winterize I was told to drain the gas out of my boat tank for the new gas mix dosen't mix with the conditioning fulids on the market. By spring he said I would a tank full of gunk. So I got arounf 30 gallons of mixed gas running in my truck.
How bad of a porblem is this?

Re: fuel conitioning

i personally add a stabilizer everytime i fill up along with the oil. i prefer a full tank at all times. allows for less condensation, thus water in the tank.

Re: fuel conitioning

Im not sure I understand why you were told to drain your tank BUT....if you have fresh fuel now,you can still use it in the spring as long as you put some stabilizer in it now.Draining the ntank in a case like this would be totally unnecessary.Charlie
