I have a J200TXECM, I believe its a 1997, 6 cyl. 2 Stroke. The motor is light on hours and has always run great. I just installed a NAVMAN fuel sensor transducer (in-line) that hooks up to my GPS/Chartplotter.....I installed an inline filter before the transducer and there is also one inside the motor (factory)....I also replaced the fuel lines from the back of the transom to the motor.........I went to test ride it today and calibrate the fuel sensor....the boat ran great from idle all way up to 3/4 throttle. When I went full throttle, the motor didn't sound right, way different sound....then the CHK ENG light came on along with an audible alarm....I shut down the motor....it did this two more times...I then bypassed the fuel transducer and got the same results......I never had this problem before....I read that the CHK ENG light and alarm indicate a vacuum issue only.....CAN ANYONE HELP WITH THIS PROBLEM!!!

Re: Fuel delivery problem...PLEASE HELP

Remove the inline filter before the transducer. You are creating a fuel restriction and the check engine is coming on because of that. It can be very harmful to your engines health to run it on the lean side...
