...is cracked on my 6hp Johnson OB. Got motor to start but it won't stay running and I think it is bc of the crack. When I press primer bulb gas sprays everywhere out of the tiniest crack. I am no OB mechanic, but I think I could fix this if I knew where to get the part and if I needed to put any sealant or a gasket back on? Any direction would be much appreciated.
Also, I ran the motor for few min today in a tub full of water. I am fairly certain I had it deep enough that it should have been sucking water, but no water was spraying out. If I take it out and get no water coming out, how hard is it to replace an impeller? I am trying to avoid a service bill.
