there is a micronic (porous bronze filter) located inside the sediment bowl on my 1954 evinrude 7.5. i was wondering if these are available ? would it hurt to run without it or does it have another purpose like water separation?
If yours is clogged up and you can't find another one, it's easy enough to splice a plastic inline filter into your fuel line. I would definitely have a filtration of some sort.<br />- Scott
