That plug !!!!! YUCK !!!!!
I would go with a compression test on all the cylinders. See what is going on in that cylinder that the plug came from. It could be a head gasket giving out.

The Evinrude on my boat is an 1984 140 and is basically the same engine as your 135 with the exception of the electronic ignition and the VRO and some other subtle differences.

I agree with everyone else, you probably have a crappy head gasket.
