I Have been reading a lot of post in reference to bogging down at WOT.
1982 40hp Merc
Had the boat out yesterday and it seemed to run fine for at least 20 min at WOT as we went out to our fishing spot. I did not run it at WOT again until our return trip. Motor seem to bog down almost like it wanted to stall out but kept running. At half throttle work fine. (did not try the bulb squeeze thing)
The fuel filter assy is new but as I looked at it today it is only 1/3 full of fuel. Is that normal for a fuel system as it is just sitting stagnant?
