First timer,
I have a 1985 omc 2.5l that was put into storage 10 years ago, the boat was winterized properly and stored indoors. I had to replace a few minor and expected things like filters and fuel. and much to everyones suprise the thing runs excellent. Although the fuel gauge says full all the time. removed sensor only to find there was no float assembly. any quick fixes out there ???
After reading the forums I understand OMC penn yan is no more..
and parts are rare. or should I just carry an extra fuel can and forget about the gauge
