Fuel gauge at half

Hello,
I bought a Faria fuel gauge, Euro white face black bezel. Last week I filled my boat fuel tank, when I turned on my acc. the gauge only went to 1/2. My tank is visible, so I know it was full, plus gas came out the vent hose. So I took the float/sender out of the tank, and sure enough, when I rotate the float arm in the full up position the gauge reads 1/2. Is there anyway to calibrate the gauge or float mechanism?

Well I figured it out. Here you need two ground wires going to the (-) negitive terminal of the gauge. After I raise the float arm with both grounds connected the gauge reads Full.
