Any suggestions on a fuel gauge for a 79 glastron GT150 with a mercury 900? It has 2 tanks but there is no way to know how empty each tank gets.

I believe the gauges and sending units are pretty standard.

Re: Fuel Gauge

Are these portable 6 gal tanks? If so, you could rig up a rudimentary electric fuel sender, on each tank. I am not sure the expense and work are worth it, however. You could pick up an 18 gal flat tank with a elect sender of $100, and stick a gauge in the dash.

No the tanks are not portable unfortunately. I guess a dip stick works it just seems that there has to be some other cheap way. Thanks for the input!
