I have a 1986 johnson 150 VRO. Each Carb is supplied with fuel via a hose that connects under each carb, is it possible to replace these hoses without removing the carbs? 2 outta the 3 are dripping at the connection and im sure that i would be unable to reach the tie-wrap to remove and install. is this a costly repair? Thanks guys for any advice thats well needed.

Re: Fuel Hose replacement procedure

There's only four nuts retaining each carburetor and all three carbs can be removed at one time. I'd suggest that to keep from going insane that you remove the carbs as above and install new hoses.

Just make notes before taking something apart so as not to make a mistake when reversing the procedure. There's no rocket science mentality involved in that job.... just time consuming.
