Is it possible for fuel to be going through the "pulse" line from the crankcase to the fuel pump. I have fuel coming through the backside of my fuel pump.

Is it possible to get a better seal on my fuel pump, or is my crankcase pumping fuel back into the backside of my pump?

Re: Fuel in "Pulse" Line

if the pump diaphram gets perforated, fuel can enter the pulse line, makes the engine run rich. on some pumps, it'll come out a little hole on the backside of the pump.

fuel pump kit on iboats, about $12, a can of gasket remover, some permatex #2, half hour later, you're good to go.

Unless, it's a VRO pump, which I don't know, might be more involved.

I just got done rebuilding the pumps per the pump rebuild thread thanks to Tashasdaddy. ;)
