So I rebuilt the carbs tonight and upon pulling the needle seat out of the carb that was giving me all the trouble, found the little speck of crud in the first pic below. It's hard to believe such a little thing could anger the carb gods!!! The second pic is of the naaasty needle seat out of one of the other carbs, guess there was some water in the fuel at some point huh?!?
Ok, onto the fuel leak. My VRO is disconnected and capped properly. The lines are new from the elbow up and the "t" fittings as well. However the lower carb "t" and hoses seems to be leaking decently. There were no clamps or zipties on these lines previously but I did put zipties on now. Is it possible the fuel pressure could be too high somehow? Could the restricted carb bowl inlet mentioned above cause increased pressure and force the line to leak? Just trying to figure some things to take a look at tomorrow.
