Fuel line 5/16th or 3/8th 1999 25 hp s stroke?

I'm not the original owner. So I can't go by what's on there. Seems complete from Mercury fuel line assemblies come in 3/8th and 5/16th diameters.

I'm already having a fuel line issue so I'd like to get the OEM one but the correct diameter so I can rule out the 10 year old fuel line as part of my intermittent fuel starvation issue.

5/16" is plenty for that motor.
