I have a 2000 Yamaha 4 hp 4 stroke outboard. I am trying to buy a tank connector and a motor connector. I need the connectors that go on the fuel line with the bulb. I ordered a moeller complete fuel line setup but the connectors inside diameter is too small for my application.Anyone know which connectors i need? I can do aftermarket or oem. I need the one that you plug into the motor and the one to plug into the tank. Someone help please

The connectors are fairly standard and can be purchased at any marine parts store. I think the problem you've encountered is that you have connectors that are Johnson/Evinrude. You need the Yamaha ones which have holes that are a bit different in size.

perhaps it's mispackaged. The dealer is usually a better option just for that reason. Genuine Yamaha stuff usually fits.
