Fuel line inside diameter?

I have a 1976 15hp and my son replaced the fuel line on his last trip. He purchased a complete assy at Walmart. The line he purchased is a 3/8. Is this ok or does my 15 need a certain size? He tossed the old line so I don't know what size it was.

A 3/8 fule line is sufficient for a 200HP motor. it will work just fine on your motor.

The problem comes when you try to run the 200hp with a 5/16" line.
