fuel line??

i want to replace the fuel line and primer bulb in my open aluminum boat is there special fuel line for this application or can i use regular goodyear fuel line the line lays in the sun year round someone told me i need coast guard approved fuel line? why would this line be different than regular fuel line?

Any fuel line made for an outboard motor should do just fine. You can purchase one from your local marine dealer of go to Wally World and get a decent one.

I have gotten so many conflicting stories grade a or b marine or automotive grade and prices ranging from .67 a ft to $2.50 i don't want to cheap out but i don't want to spend any unnessecarily thanks
