Ok....newbie posting a question here. Have a small 12ft boat with 6hp evinrude. Would like to move my portable fuel tank to the bow of the boat so as to not have the stern too heavy. Can I just extend the length of the fuel line by another 3 feet or will this be an issue with regards to getting the fuel up to the engine?

Re: fuel line

Three Feet, six feet, it doesn't make any difference. Your engine will handle it fine. Actually the fuel tank will be slightly higher in that location which adds to the gravity feed scenario.

Just be sure to secure the tank in that location as it usually takes a pounding in that location.
