Fuel lines diagram

Is there a diagram which shows the proper way to rout the fuel lines. Kinda confused from some of the pictures I have seen. I have also noticed there is a nipple at the bottom of the intake manifold. Where does the hose from this nipple attach?

I'd guess a 1970 Johnson 60hp 60ESL70B,

I think you are looking at the drain hose coming from the intake silencer.

Sorry, yes I am asking about 1970 Johnson 60hp 60ESL70B. The fuel pump is missing from the motor and there are no fuel lines so I am trying to figure what goes where.

Where does the fuel line go from the fuel pump? Does it go to the middle carb and then branch out from there? I noticed in pictures of the middle carb it has two nipples.

What is an air silencer and where does the hose from it go to?

On the port side there is another nipple, is this a drain that returns to the fuel pump?

The fuel pump needs 3 hoses. One hose comes from the tank connector and goes to the black plastic fuel pump cover. Second hose goes to the carburetors. Yes, a tee. And it requires special pre-formed hoses from the tee to upper & lower carbs. Third hose goes to the crankcase. Pressure pulses within the crankcase are what makes the pump pump.

Silencer? I'd think you are pulling my leg, but I'll be fair and tell you that it is the air box that goes over the 3 carb's intakes. Fuel leakage from the carbs settles to the bottom of it and is sucked into the manifold.

I think maybe you should go to the BRP parts website and take a look.

The reason I asked about the air silencer is because of the parts diagram. Item #49 part number 0552613 says hose air silencer to manifold. It looks like in the diagram it connects to a nipple which is item #36. If the hose connects to that nipple where does it connect on the other end?
