Fuel Lines Seeping - 60HP

End of the summer, I replaced VRO with regular fuel pump, and replaced all fuel hoses. I noticed a bit of fuel dripping down the leg of the motor....I found that the small lines going to the carbs are seeping at two of the "tees". Is there a good way to get those plastic clamps good and tight??

Also my new fuel pump had loosened up and was leaking a bit as well.
Thanks.

I ussually replace those clamps with new OEM clamps. Nothing holds tighter.

If they are reused they sometimes do not grip as well, especially on an old line.

I used new plastic tie straps.

If you mean the mounting bolts are loose put a little thread locker on them

tighten the center big screw, it hold the fuel filter, and has an Oring on it.

Thanks. Ive taken care of that, should I locktite the pump screws? Ive never had one of these loosen up on my previous motors before...

The bigger issues is the small hoses at the tees, feeding the carbs, are seeping. THis is brand new Bombardier hose, with new tie straps....When I pump the bulb, fuel starts to seep out.

I know that OMC recommends using zip tie type clamps. However, I have never had any luck with them holding. Seems they are never tight enough.

I have had success using the plastic hose clamps . The ones that have teeth and that you squeeze together with plyers. You can clamp them tighter and I have not had one fail yet.

I would not suggest reusing them though.
