Hello everyone I have a 73 65 hp Evinrude runs well but the fuel lines on it look a little dried out. Is there s specific fuel line i need does it need to be USCG approved Is tygone a good choice Thanks for any replies
You'll need hose that is rated specifically for today's ethanol fuels. All new rubber fuel lines have an inner liner to guard against ethanol deterioration of the hose. Your Bombardier dealer has such hose. Also, none of the original factory hoses under the cowling of that engine are rated to handle ethanol fuels. If they are original, you may want to consider replacing all of them.
