gary, the guys on the prop forum are saying hole shot is better with the 4 blade, but top end suffers, have you found this to be true? The hole shot isn't as critical as the performance at cruise and top end.

I like the four blade for all around, but a three is what you want if hole shot is that low of a priority . . . Your boat may want the 22P, and again maybe a 23 if your tach is right . . .

quietcat, how about brands? I read that different props are somewhat different due to cup etc..what have you guys found to be the best. Obviously after spending the money for new motor, cash may become an issue...when using the 4 blade, does it hurt you on the upper end? Obviously 4 cost more than 3...<br />Thanks Again,<br />Scott
