Fuel/oil mixture says 100/1?

Hi folks, my new to me 85' Evinrude 9.9HP has a little sticker next to the fuel intake line that says 100/1. Should I use that mixture or use the 50/1 I see everyone else talking about?
I had read in this forum about that 100/1, then I see mine has it!

The 100/1 mixtue was a mistake that resulted in many blown powerheads. Use the 50/1 mixture.

I've got a few customers still running 100:1,because all they do is troll,and 50:1 causes fouling.But they are running 8HP and less.

OMC stated 100:1 was fine for operating,but NOT for letting the engine stay dormant (not enough oil on the bearings/pistons/rings.)

But if I had your 9.9,and used it hard,it would be at 50:1.
