fuel pressure

fuel pressure - after squizing the bulb on a Df 140 suzuki 2002. the bulb gets soft again in 1 min and low pressure fuel filter is ½ empty rapidly . no trace of fuel leak . I think the fuel is going back to the tank . I am guessing a new bulb that is all . what do you think

That sounds pretty normal. Are you having running issues? Once the fuel pump starts drawing fuel, pressure in the bulb will become vaccuum. If the bulb collapses, then you have a problem somewhere between the bulb and tank.

good news i bought a 5/16 hose at boat usa and then turned the ignition on and off several times to pressurized the fuel and everything is ok .
