OK , I put in a new fuelpump kit ,with valves..<br />you guy,s got me feeling bad , as it was 18 years old ..and still working ..<br /><br />question ??.. I used all the parts in the kit <br />All except one little 'o'ring ..about 1/4 ID ..<br />I did not take one out , and have no idea where it goes..<br />any help ??? the pump runs fine , no leaks and I had it completely disasembled..saw no "old 'o' ring ..<br />it currently resides in my toolbox

hello<br /> some of the pumps had an oring for the filter cap seal, others used a plastic washer under the head. the kit contains the parts to do many yeras and pump versions. its not uncommon to have parts in a kit that are not used on your application. would be to expensive to package and market kits that are application specific.

Mr Rodbolt...thanks for the reply.<br />I used the "plastic washer" ..and now have a spare 'o'ring ...I just wanted to make sure as my old eyes may have missed something
