Have 1989 evinrude 70hp, model E7OELCEM. Would like to remove vro system,and replace with a regular fuel pump for 50/1 fuel mix. Any thoughts on what year or model number pump I should use. I would like to remove the existing vro unit altogether.
Why not just disable the oil side of the pump and run it? Pretty simple unless you just want to get a new pump.<br /> <br /> VRO Disconnect<br /><br />EDIT: I see we've been down this road before...They can be rebuilt, too.
