Fuel pump filter

Hoping for a quik reply. I just replaced the filter in the fuel pump, I need to know if I should tighten the nut til it stops or just snug. It is about 1/8-3/16 from where it stops. Thanks

Ayuh,... Only enough to cause a slight compression of the gasket....
