There is a vacuum line between the flame arrestor and the fuel pump.

Just curious what it is. I was wondering if it helps with priming the fuel line or ?

Thanks

It is there to dump gas into the carb instead of the bilge if the fuel pump has an internal failure.
If it has fuel in it you know the pump is going bad...it's all a safety feature.

and it is NOT a vac line. Commonly called a "Tell-Tale" .Its a visual indicator that the diaphram in the pump has ruptured. This line actually is a vent system .If you plug it at the fuel pump, the pump wont pump. A lot better than dumping the fuel in the bilge
