fuel pump gasket

I purchased a new fuel pump and have three gaskets in the box. The new gaskets don't appear as thick as the original so how do I know how many to use. The calipers read .019 on each new gasket. Any ideas ? The pump is for a 454 mag bravo 1990.

There is nothing in the manual about the thickness of the gasket. The pump is used on more then one motor. Just use the one which fits your opening
