Fuel pump line removal

Asking for a friend…he’s trying to remove this line from his 5.0 mpi fuel line. He’s removed the screw but it won’t budge. Any thoughts?

its a volvo, 3 bolts removed and 1 broken?

It’s a mercruiser, I should have been more specific….he’s trying to remove the fuel line from the pump

need a wider pic, no known pump looks like that. Most fuel lines are 3/8ths inverted flare
