You could also have crud in the carb bowls. Take them off and check. Carb kits are cheap.

can a person just take the bowls of the carbs to check them and then put them back on or does this require taking them all apart and getting carb kits

Check your gas line fitting where it twists into the motor, make sure the new one on your hose matches the one in your motor. The one in the motor could possibly be worn and a little different than the one that came with your new hose. It could be restricting the flow. Just an idea, I am no expert. Presently studying at the school of hard knocks. Good luck. SJK

on the 2nd ignition coil the spark plug wire that goes into the coil goes inside and twist. there is a small crack in the housing that keeps the wire securly in the coil.so it was loose i took it out and the end looked like it had corrision on it so i cut off the end and screwed it back in it seem to run better, won't know tell i take it out tommorrow.this is the second time i did this, would the coil or wire be bad or is it that i just do not have it screwed in far enough that causes it to corrode.
